iCT SCANNER - IMRIS Inc.
Third product for the VISIUS Surgical Theater. The iCT scanner was conceived to meet the needs of hospitals that did not require the more expensive MRI system offered by IMRIS.
Tasked with designing new exterior panels to house the magnet, internal electronic systems and metal support structures. The key requirement was to allow for easy access to internal components for service and maintenance by a single technician. As such all upper panels are designed to flip upwards and supported by gas struts.
